Antique metal alligator/crocodile early nutcracker 20s

Description

This is for an absolutely amazing gorgeously detailed metal alligator or crocodile nutcracker from 20s or 30s era. Excellent condition for the age with the wonderful natural patina. It appears to be made out of some type of possibly pewter or other metal and is non-magnetic. Amazing detail push down on the alligators head and his back and lifts up and you would place the nut between his feet and crush it. Says patent pending on the rear base leg. The feet of the base are each a different type of hard nut front is a peanut and what looks like a cashew and the rear is a walnut and some other type of a nut. Never seen one like this before and is not your typical Nutcracker. does have some light cracks in it throughout but nothing substantial just figured I would mention. This thing looks like a real Gator! Quite unique
